Meteogram for iPhone App Reviews

So, so many weather apps on the App Store...this one nails it. Scannable, with a clear selection of useful details but never frustration at a lack of information. (I do use another app for weather radar.)

Not sure where they get their data but I have monitored multiple locations served by on site wx reporting (airports) and this application doesnt even come close to being accurate with current or forecast. The app will show clear conditions and light winds when the current and past 24 hours actual has been 40kt winds and overcast conditions.

I am an American Meteorological Society Certified Consulting Meteorologist. In my professional opinion, this and the iPad version are the best weather apps weve yet seen. They depict the four-dimensional nature of weather systems in an intuitive manner. Information content is complete, and graphics are genius. A full five stars!

I use this app daily in California and more recently in France, Germany and Austria. Its fantastic. The website is pretty cool too, to put it mildly. Great, great app.

The app is original and beautifully displayed. Very unique and a nice way to view the weather. However it is inaccurate. Yesterday it forecasted 61 and it got to 77 (NORTH HAVEN, CT). Everyday it under predicts the high and in the Winter it is colder than what it forecast. When it predicts rain it snows during winter. I have contacted the app creator and he quickly responded to tell me that he might get new data providers for the forecasting. When that update comes this app will easily have my 5 stars.

Well-designed and elegant interface but not especially accurate at times.

Interface needs to match on iPad. Needs to allow second line in either view.

This is my goto weather app for checking the forecast for wherever I am. Very accurate forecasts!

Its simple, direct, and quick. Very logical and easy to read. And for some reason its extremely accurate. Very Tufte concise, elegant display.

Unlike the iPad version you can only see the next two days instead of the next five. Weather data only generally correct (for central Texas). Love the interface, dont appreciate how much it nagged me for my review (seemingly every time I use the app). Also it always shows the future, never now. Its 6:45pm and the app starts with 8pm.

One of the best weather apps - I love the graphical view which is easier to quickly grok than most other weather apps.

Logical, informative layout.

This is a great app! But like others have stated there is some room for improvement. First a feature showing current conditions would be very helpful along with an option for hourly weather, not just every 3 hrs. In some parts of the world, mine included several storms couldve, and have blown through in that amount of time in the past. Overall I love the layout. I just wish it were a bit more detailed (dew point, moon and tide info, etc). Im still giving it 5 stars because it does everything as advertised and it is very accurate, perfect no...But when it comes to prediction no app or wx service is right all the time.

Good, clear info including wind direction and speed
